Job summary

Zenvo Uae is seeking a Senior Financial Controller in the UK to provide senior leadership across financial accounting, statutory reporting, group consolidation, and regulatory reporting for the UK entities.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will own complex reporting, oversee month-end close, and drive improvements in control and efficiency while working across finance teams in a flexible hybrid model in Solihull.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Financial Controller will provide senior leadership across financial accounting, statutory reporting, group consolidation, regulatory reporting and financial control activities for the UK entries.

The role will take ownership of complex reporting and control topics, leading delivery through finance teams, influencing stakeholders across the business and supporting transformation activity to improve quality, efficiency and control.

Key Responsibilities are:

• Support the Director of Finance in delivering the Core Finance control agenda, ensuring financial accounting, statutory reporting, regulatory reporting, group reporting and operational finance control activities are joined up, well governed and delivered to required standards.
• Provide senior oversight of financial accounting, management accounts, statutory accounts and Group consolidation reporting for the UK entities, ensuring outputs are accurate, controlled, complete and delivered to agreed deadlines.
• Responsible for leading and coordinating month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting processes across relevant finance teams, influencing contributors to deliver high-quality submissions and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Lead, coach and develop direct reports and colleagues involved in financial accounting and control activities, promoting high performance, technical quality, ownership and continuous improvement.
• Support finance transformation projects, process improvement activity and ad hoc business initiatives as required, ensuring financial control remains embedded through change.
