Connecting Senior Finance professionals with growth companies

Radley Green is partnering with a professional services firm that is looking to double their revenue in the next 5 years. They are seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join their growing finance team.

This is a newly created role reporting to the CFO / COO, owning all finance functions for the firm, with a real opportunity to become the head of finance in a short period.

The role offers a salary of £95k - £110k, plus benefits, a 20% bonus, profit sharing, and a focus on work-life balance (2 days in the office per week).

The position manages a team of 11 and covers reporting, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and developing financial systems.

Our client requires experience in a professional services environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and motivating a large team including Finance Manager, FP&A, and FinOps
• Driving system and process development and change
• Coordinating annual accounts and liaising with external auditors
• Supporting tax, VAT, PSA, and partner tax return preparations with advisors
• Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
• Enhancing efficiency through process improvements aligned with business strategy

Candidate requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience managing large teams (10+)
• Comfortable working in a change environment and leading change initiatives
• Experience working with IT on finance systems roadmaps and managing large systems change projects
• Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of managing senior relationships
