Job summary

Itchyfeet Recruitment Agency is seeking a Team Manager for a client’s Shared Client Services Accounting team. This permanent, full-time role oversees day-to-day client accounting delivery across Guernsey and India support teams, applying IFRS and UK GAAP to review statements and support audits.

You will partner with the Senior Manager of Client Accounting on priorities, capacity planning, quality oversight, and staff development, while guiding accounting topics with stakeholders and driving

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACCA/ACA/CPA or equivalent.
• Experience reviewing financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Experience in client-facing accounting environments within financial services.
• Experience supporting audits with external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery for a portfolio of client engagements across support teams.
• Support Senior Manager in planning team priorities and allocating resources.
• Monitor service delivery performance and address delivery risks.
• Review financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS, flag issues early.
• Support audit planning and liaison activities with stakeholders.
• Serve as a key contact for client-facing accounting topics and resolve issues.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching to accounting staff.
• Ensure adherence to processes, controls, and documentation.
• Assist with onboarding, knowledge-sharing, and training initiatives.
