Job summary

Amazon in London is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the UK EMEA Non-AWS Lease Accounting team. You will support controllership and accounting across UK entities and coordinate with stakeholders in multiple locations.

The role involves driving cross-border projects, implementing policy changes with the financial leadership team, and contributing to month-end close and financial reporting under established procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• CMA/ACA/CIMA/ACCA or CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting processes.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS or local GAAP frameworks.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in large public accounting firms or multinational corporations.
• Ability to work on cross-border projects and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support controllership and accounting for UK operations within the UK EMEA Non-AWS Lease Accounting team.
• Lead month-end close activities and contribute to financial reporting.
• Drive cross-border projects and implement policies with global financial leadership.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple locations to ensure accurate financial data.
