Qualificações

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to become a key member of the UK EMEA Non-AWS Lease Accounting team, located in our London office. The role has responsibility for the controllership and accounting function in support of the UK operations. The accounting flows are operated in multiple legal entities with involvement of a number of stakeholders in different locations.

In addition to the accounting and reporting responsibilities, the individual will drive cross-border projects and develop best practice in processes and controllership on an international level. They will also drive implementation of policies with the financial leadership team based out of worldwide Amazon locations.

Candidates for this position will be expected to demonstrate they were top performers at their level.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or experience or equivalent experience in finance roles
• Knowledge of one or multiple accounting frameworks (including US GAAP, IFRS, or local GAAP frameworks), with the ability to apply them in day-to-day financial activities
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English
• Experience supporting month-end closing processes and contributing to financial reporting under established procedures
• Experience supporting the implementation of controls or contributing to audits over financial reporting environments
• Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
• CMA, or Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)
• Knowledge of accounting frameworks such as US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), or local GAAP standards
• Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)
• Knowledge of of financial reporting tools (Cognos, Redshift)
• Experience developing financial models in Excel with advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power Query)
• Experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau)
• Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
• Experience working in large teams or at a national/multinational organization, or experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients
• Experience working in large teams or at a national/multinational organization
• Experience with computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), or experience with Microsoft office tools like Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneNote
