Job summary

Amazon EU SARL (UK Branch) seeks a Senior Financial Analyst in its WW Amazon Shipping finance group. The role focuses on Financial Planning & Analysis for EU, driving modelling, reporting, and controllership while identifying opportunities across pricing and operations costs.

You will work with Business, Operations, Product, and Tech teams, partnering with ATS and AMZL Finance to deliver insights and cost improvements in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field.
• Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting financial results.
• Experience applying KPIs to analyses.
• Experience identifying and leading opportunities to automate or improve finance tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive core financial processes including Annual Operating Plans, 3-year strategic plan, and monthly/ quarterly reviews.
• Educate partners on financial/non-financial trade-offs in ambiguous environments with scarce data.
• Partner with senior leaders to develop operational metrics and goals to drive performance.
• Communicate data clearly to diverse audiences to drive critical business decisions.
• Analyse ROI of programs and generate actionable insights from large data sets.
• Demonstrate backbone, disagree and commit to constructive dialogues and decisions.
• Recruit and develop talent to raise team performance.
