Location: Nottingham / Hybrid
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week
We’re looking for a talented and ambitious person to join our rapidly growing business.
Working in the Finance team, the successful candidate will help produce insightful
financial information in relation to the Retail Business Unit. The candidate will work on
the production of management accounts, budgets, forecasts, modelling and variance
analysis for BU Retail, ensuring accounting tasks are completed quickly, accurately and
to a high standard.
The role will involve you working closely with various departments in the business,
having regular meetings with senior management and exposure to Board level staff

What We Need from Yü
Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the production of the Retail Business Unit financial and management
- reporting.
- Producing monthly Gross Margin and EBITDA outputs, including monthly journal
- preparations and completion of key balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparation of GM analysis and MI packs including relevant and insightful
- variance analysis.
- Business Partnering responsibility for key ‘Lifecycle’ P&L line.
- Help to drive improvement and innovation of all Financial processes, including
- identification of automation opportunities.
- Draw relationships between business actions e.g. hedging or pricing and
- financial performance, including reconciliation between expectations and actual
- results.
- Analysis of revenue and cost of sales variances, providing commentary to the
- Group FD and beyond.
- Collaborate within the organisation and forge strong relationships with key
- stakeholders across the different functions.
- Preparation of weekly and monthly KPI analysis for inclusion in Board packs.
- Work at pace and have the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and analysis to meet the needs of the business
