This is an exciting opportunity fora Senior Accountant to join our team, responsible for leading generalaccounting and core financial operations. The ideal candidate will possessstrong management skills, taking full ownership of month end and year end closeprocesses, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Main duties of the job

Prepare and review financialstatements and management reports in accordance with accounting standards.
Supervise and mentor junioraccounting staff while promoting a collaborative and supportive team culture.
Manage account reconciliations,including bank, balance sheet, and company accounts.
Manage cash flow and cash flowforecasting.
Ensure accuracy/integrity and efficiencyof all accounting /financial records and processes.
Oversee accounts payable, accountsreceivable, and payroll functions to support smooth financial operations.
Implement and monitor internal controlsand accounting policies to ensure compliance and drive operational efficiency.
Support annual audits by coordinatingwith external auditors and tax advisors.
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting,and variance analysis processes.
Stay current with financial regulationsand recommend enhancements to accounting systems and procedures.
Prepare monthly management accounts anddeliver insightful profit and loss (P&L) analysis.
Deliver VAT and tax compliance acrossthe UK, ensuring adherence to applicable tax laws.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow planning activities to support strategic financial management.
Develop and maintain complex managementreports to support informed decision making.
Collaborateclosely with the Finance Manager on financial planning, reporting, andstrategic initiatives.
