Role: Senior Finance Manager - Leases

Location: Blackburn, BB1 2FA – Office Based

Contract: Full-Time / Permanent

Salary: £57,475 - £67,925 (Dependent on Experience & Discretionary Bonus Scheme)

About the Role:

Our Group team is excited to present a new opportunity at EG Group for a Senior Finance Manager (Leases) to join our Head Office. The successful candidate will be key to developing consistent and accurate financial reporting regarding the Group’s extensive lease portfolio and providing cross-functional support across the Group for commercial decision-making.

Reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Director, the Senior Finance Manager (Leases) will operate within the Group Reporting function and support the Country Finance and Group Property & Real Estate teams.

This role emphasizes extensive IFRS16 knowledge for comprehensive financial analysis. The candidate will utilize relevant experience to improve controls and maintain data around our IFRS16 database (Qube) as part of a broader ICFR program.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the Group’s lease portfolio and ensure IFRS16 compliance
• Manage data from lease management software MRI Horizon/Qube
• Lead monthly reconciliations and support financial teams
• Ensure consistency of Right of Use (RoU) assets and liabilities across reports
• Oversee the process and controls for recording and reporting RoU assets and liabilities under IFRS16

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3+ years of post-qualification experience
• Experience in real estate finance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment
• Ambitious and self-motivated
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
