Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to oversee all financial aspects of their Channel Islands businesses. This is a full-time position that involves delivering financial reports, supporting business divisions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing a team of Financial Controllers. The role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the strategic and operational financial leadership of a prestigious organisation.

Job Duties:

• Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial reporting.
• Conduct periodic Net Investment review meetings with client-facing teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
• Liaise with auditors to address accounting queries and ensure audit deliverables are met.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Manage financial controls in line with company procedures.
• Provide financial insights and guidance to support divisions.
• Attend board meetings to provide financial support.
• Lead and manage the Financial Controllers team, supporting their growth and development.
• Adhere to CPD requirements based on qualification level and company procedures.
• Uphold core values and behaviours as expected by the organisation.
• Undertake other duties as required by management.

Job Requirements:

• Professional accountancy qualification with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced business environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
