Position: Senior Finance Manager - Sales

Location: 17 Europa View, Sheffield Business Park, S9 1HX

Contract type: 40 hours

Rate: £57,450 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company as our new Senior Finance Manager – Sales in Sheffield.

This isn’t just a finance role, it’s a key position where your expertise will contribute to our ability to provide outstanding care.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing costings for new business and articulating these to funders.

You’ll report on key sales information by working closely with the Business Development Team and negotiate with funders for changes in fees due to care need changes.

About the role

As a Senior Finance Manager, you’ll work alongside the current Senior Finance Manager and report to the Director of Commercial Finance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Sales Ledger Team with debt over 90 days, liaising with Local Authorities and ICBs to secure payments.
• Helping Home Managers with funding changes or withdrawals.
• Checking contractual documentation for accuracy prior to legal sign-off or admission.
• Ensuring reassessments are completed and costed correctly, obtaining approvals, and liaising with Home Managers and funders to resolve queries.
• Creating costings for new referrals to ensure they meet current acuity levels and are commercially viable.
• Conducting meetings with funders and referrers to explain costing models and assessments.
• Completing funder-specific documentation for panels.
• Reporting on the results of specific pricing initiatives.
