Job summary

Smith & Nephew plc is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to shape Finance and Global Business Services technology strategy. You will partner with senior leaders, translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions and guide governance to secure investment.

You will stay close to delivery, ensuring ERP and analytics workstreams deliver measurable benefits, drive roadmap decisions and champion simplified processes across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with Finance or IT in complex change programmes.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes and platforms including ERP, EPM, workflow, and analytics.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA, with strong functional knowledge of the FICO domain.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to simplify complexity and create clear, testable requirements.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategy into technology-enabled change for Finance and GBS.
• Partner with leaders to shape ideas into business cases and guide governance to secure investment.
• Ensure technology solutions are designed well and deliver the intended business value.
• Lead strategic roadmap development, detailed requirements, and delivery team engagement.
• Manage the ERP enhancement pipeline to reflect business value and scalability; simplify processes and promote best practices.
