Smith & Nephew plc in the UK is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to influence strategy and partner with senior leaders as we modernise our Finance and Global Business Services through technology.

You will translate strategy into tangible changes, shape ideas into business cases, and guide these through governance to secure investment. You will stay close to delivery, ensuring ERP and analytics solutions meet business needs and deliver measurable benefits.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Finance or IT with large change programmes.
• Strong knowledge of Finance processes, ERP, EPM, workflow and analytics.
• Hands-on SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA experience in FICO domain.
• Analytical thinker who can simplify complexity and define clear requirements.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across business and tech teams.

As a Lead Business Analyst you will influence strategic direction, partner with senior leaders and be at the centre of high profile initiatives that modernise our global Finance and GBS landscape. You will become a trusted advisor to Finance and GBS teams, helping them translate strategy into technology enabled change. You will partner with leaders to understand challenges and opportunities, shape ideas into tangible business cases and guide these through governance to secure investment. From there you will stay close to delivery, ensuring technology solutions are designed well, built around business needs

and create the value originally intended.

Your work will span a blend of strategic roadmap development, deep business analysis, requirements definition and hands on engagement with delivery teams. You will also manage the ERP enhancement pipeline, ensuring priorities reflect business value and future scalability. Through it all you will help simplify processes, champion best practice and support the realisation of measurable benefits.

What will you need to be successful?Success in this role comes through your ability to build strong partnerships, understand how Finance and shared services operate and translate needs into solutions that work in the real world. You will thrive when navigating complexity, supporting multiple initiatives at once and influencing key stakeholders across the organisation.

To excel you will need:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst working across Finance or IT with complex change programmes
• Strong understanding of Finance processes and platforms, including ERP, EPM, workflow and analytics
• Demonstrated experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA, with strong functional knowledge of the FICO domain
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to simplify complexity and create clear, testable requirements
• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams

• Information for candidates applying in Poland:The anticipated gross annual base compensation range for this position is 228 000-342 000 PLN.The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on objective, job related factors including (but not limited to) relevant skills, qualifications and experience, scope and responsibilities of the role, geographic location and internal equity considerations. Compensation decisions are made using consistent and gender neutral criteria, in line with applicable pay transparency laws. This role has been evaluated within our internal job architecture and mapped to a defined pay band
