Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or international equivalent.
• Experience in financial control, accounting, audit or related finance.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and professional scepticism.
• Proven ability to challenge financial results with sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent financial control oversight and technical accounting expertise, ensuring financial reporting is accurate, compliant and aligned with relevant standards and policies.
• Review and challenge financial results, complex accounting matters and control risks, applying sound judgement to support robust decision-making and governance.
• Lead financial control activities across reporting cycles, audits and assurance processes, ensuring strong documentation, evidence and timely resolution of issues.
• Build trusted relationships across Finance and business teams, driving continuous improvement, promoting best practice and supporting colleagues through guidance, coaching and constructive challenge.
