Job summary

PwC UK is seeking a Financial Control Lead to provide independent financial oversight and technical accounting expertise across assigned Lines of Service. You will work closely with Business Partnering, FinOps and FR&C teams to ensure outcomes are accurate and aligned with firm policies.

You will review results, challenge complex accounting matters and lead control activities across reporting cycles, audits and assurance processes while building strong relationships withFinance and business

Qualifications

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or international equivalent) with financial control experience.
Strong technical accounting knowledge and sound judgement in complex situations.
Experience reviewing and challenging financial performance including revenue, costs, P&L, balance sheet.
Understanding of accounting standards, financial controls, governance and reporting processes.
Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Highly organised, results-focused with mentoring/coaching experience advantageous.
