A local government client seeks a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their team permanently. You will provide management accountancy services, lead the finance partnering team, and ensure effective financial management and strategy implementation. This role is pivotal for career progression towards Deputy S151 level within a supportive environment.
My Local Government client, based in the South East, is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join the team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the CFO, you will be responsible for providing a financial and management accountancy service, including budget preparation, final accounts, statutory reports and returns, and financial planning and grant claims.
You will be a key member of the Senior Finance Management team, responsible for managing the finance business partnering team and ensuring plans and strategies are developed and delivered.

To be considered for this role, you need to be CCAB qualified with circa 3 years post-qualification experience. Local government finance experience, including preparation of final accounts, budget preparation and monitoring, and staff management, is essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop their career and progress towards Deputy S151 level. The role offers a salary of £45,718 to £51,802 with hybrid working patterns (approximately 1 day a week in the office, flexible).
