My Local Government client, based in the South East, is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join the team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the CFO you will be responsible for providing a financial and management accountancy service which will include budget preparation, final accounts, statutory reports and returns and financial planning and grant claims.
You will be a key member of the Senior Finance Management team and you will be responsible for managing the finance business partnering team and ensuring plans and strategies are developed and delivered.
Day to day your role will include:
To be considered for the role you will ned to be CCAB qualified and have circa 3 years post qualification experience. You will also need to have local government finance experience as well as experience in preparation of final accounts, budget preparation and monitoring and staff management.
This is a fantastic role for someone to develop their career and take the next step towards Deputy S151 level. The role is paying £45,718 to £51,802 with hybrid working patterns (circa 1 day a week in the office but this can be flexible).
