Opus People Solutions are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner on a 12 month fixed term contract in Ipswich.
This is a hybrid role where the expectation is 3 days per week in the office, 2 days at home. We are seeking a candidate that has an ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
You will take responsibility for a team of finance professionals across the service division. This will involve full end to end month end processes plus full budget and forecasting cycles across 10 legal entities. This will be a key role within the organisation working closely with the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of a team including setting tasks, completing 121's and managing conflict within the team
Production of accurate monthly management accounts for the division
Full balance sheet reconciliations for the division
Liaise with internal and external auditors
Manage the month-end timetable and communications with all relevant parties
Manage yearly budget and forecasting cycles
Provide commentary for the inclusion board papers
Review Joint Venture's Board Pack and participate in regular presentations & discussions to/with our partners
Prepare variance analysis for operational services and support functions within the division
Develop and help streamline budgets and forecasting process within Microsoft Dynamics D365
Develop Power BI reporting tools with help from an in-house developer
Agree, calculate and report KPIs for each service within the division
