Overview

SENIOR FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER - SUPPLY CHAIN

We have an opportunity to hire an experienced Finance Business Partner on a Permanent basis to join our central finance team.

Role Purpose

Finance Business Partner to the Supply Chain Leadership Team and Chief Commercial & Supply Chain Officer. Responsible for providing robust financial management information, recommendations and challenging all aspects of the Procurement & Distribution to deliver improved decision support, resulting in greater cost control and Operating Income growth. Required to work at pace to deliver accurate financial analysis and drive a continuous improvement culture throughout all processes.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of financial business partnering across the Supply Chain function, providing robust financial management information, insight and challenge to drive decision-making.
• Accurate analysis of key financial data, evaluating it effectively and communicating articulately to non-financial stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Facilitate and provide recommendations on cost control and efficiency opportunities, including business cases for new initiatives and tracking actualised performance against them.
• Influences and challenges the business through engaging and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
• Leading, co-ordinating and challenging the budget and forecasting submissions for Supply Chain.
• Line management and development of the Junior Finance Business Partner.

Skills & Experience

• Ability to effectively challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Qualified accountant with significant post qualification experience
• Ability to work under pressure, at pace and with challenging stakeholders Leadership.
• Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
• Can interpret and disseminate complex data to provide clear insight and drill down into root cause issues.
• Ability to build strong relationships across the organisation.
• Solution focused.
