Job Description:
Forming part of the finance team, the Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:
- Managing monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting statements of the assigned entities, including annual audit coordination and preparation.
- Financial control and reporting duties for the entities.
- Monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Customer credit checks.
- Providing banking details for RFQs, new supplier or customer forms.
- Providing analysis and insights, linking financial reports to business strategies.
- Contributing to key decision-making processes.
- Implementing changes to meet key targets.
- Acting as a financial advisor, offering support to commercial decision-makers.
- Undertaking project-based work related to strategies, projects, or business initiatives, including profitability and cash flow modeling.
- Reporting monthly to financing partners as needed.
- Managing cash planning and liquidity monitoring of the entities in collaboration with the Group Treasurer.
- Maintaining, controlling, and owning the entities' general ledger in coordination with Accounting Services & Invoice Processing teams.
- Posting and controlling accounts payable in collaboration with the Accounting Services & Invoice Processing teams.
- Monitoring and collecting overdue payments for C44 with the Cash & Treasury team.
- Building and maintaining relationships with senior managers across departments including Operations, People & Culture, Administration, and Sales.
- Interacting with external partners such as tax and finance professionals, and serving as the primary audit contact.
- Preparing declarations or submissions to third-party accountants, including sales tax/VAT, statistical, and credit bureau reporting.
- Providing cover for other ledger entities as required, such as during holidays.
- Actively participating in process improvements, including ERP development and Management Information systems.
- Applying professional accounting qualifications and expertise to deliver independent business insights, strategic thinking, and problem-solving in daily tasks.
