We are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to work within the public sector.

Location: Hybrid working - Barking, London

About the role: You will be responsible for providing financial advice, information, challenge, support, and training to senior managers and directors, particularly regarding financial planning, financial implications, and budget control.

Essential Skills: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Senior Finance Business Partner, with the following skills and experience:

• CCAB qualification, ongoing professional development, and membership of an accountancy body (with at least 3 years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year post-qualification).
• Experience in closing accounts, budget planning, and robust financial management of significant budgets, with attention to detail.
• Experience working in large, complex organizations, with in-depth knowledge of public sector finance.
• Experience managing a team of at least 3 finance professionals.
