Job summary

Kobalt Music is seeking a Senior Finance Assistant, General Ledger & Payroll to join our Global Finance team in London. You will coordinate the monthly UK and Rest of World payrolls, work with the People Team and third‑party providers, and post payroll journals and reconciliations on time.

This role also covers bank reconciliations, general ledger activities and audit support, requiring strong accounting fundamentals, high attention to detail and the judgment to challenge information when

Qualifications

• Demonstrable accounting experience in finance, GL or payroll accounting.
• Experience preparing and posting journals and performing account reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and GL processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly UK and Rest of World payroll processes and related journal entries.
• Maintain payroll-related reconciliations and balance sheet analysis.
• Support bank reconciliations and broader GL activities.
• Assist audit processes and ensure compliance with internal controls.
