Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to manage the financial business case for vehicle programmes, partnering with Engineering, Design, Launch and Vehicle Line Delivery to optimise ROI. You will lead budgeting and forecasting, deliver month-end reporting, and challenge stakeholders to ensure value for money while maintaining strict cost control across programmes.

Qualifications

Qualified Accountant or equivalent with ACCA/ICAEW/ICAS/CIMA
Experience in managing and developing reporting for large data volumes
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills to build stakeholder relationships

Responsibilities

Lead Business Partner for vehicle programmes, working with Programme Management, Engineering, Design, Launch, Commercial, Cost Engineering and Purchasing to manage performance against targets.
Delivery of month end results across areas above, including reporting to directors and management accounts commentary
Challenge stakeholders to drive accountability and provide tools to track progress
Stimulate and deliver process and efficiency improvements
Prepare programme KPI reporting for senior leadership
Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts for input into the wider business
Forecast and report all spend with comparison to previous programmes to ensure value for money
Maintain live register of risks and opportunities
