Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a Senior Programme Quality Engineer to represent the voice of quality in vehicle programmes and support delivery of Quality activities from concept through launch. You will influence design and manufacturing decisions, work across levels from shop floor to executive, and drive robust quality governance and reporting.

The role demands strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and a proactive approach to prevent quality issues while delivering high-value, low-volume

Qualifications

• 8D / PPS problem solving methodology experience.
• Strong analytical approach to quality issues and data.
• Proven ability to set and monitor quality targets.
• Basic understanding of SPC, statistics and process capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead programme quality activities across vehicle programmes.
• Govern quality control aspects and develop the project quality plan.
• Ensure quality costs are provisioned with VTC budgeting.
• Drive Quality Concern Avoidance to prevent repeats.
• Prioritise issues to support informed launch decisions.
• Ensure targets align with FPV and customer audits.
