Job summary

Boots Group in Nottingham seeks a Senior Finance Analyst to own the month-end close and RTR processes for Boots Retail USA (BRUSA). You will collaborate with Genpact and a UK-based team across the UK, US and India to deliver timely, accurate financials and drive process improvement.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle) and a proactive mindset to implement Lean and system optimisations within SAP S4/HANA. Onsite with a dynamic retail finance function.

Qualifications

Experience of month end close process and good financial accounting knowledge.
Part or fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ICAEW, ACCA, AAT).
Experience of preparing or reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Ability to engage with and maintain relationships with stakeholders across finance and Genpact.
A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Enthusiasm for change and drive to learn more of the skills required for our future finance function.

Responsibilities

Responsible for month end close and working with Genpact counterparts to achieve timely and accurate reporting.
Ensure reconciliations are completed and reviewed to standard.
Carry out and document appropriate controls.
Collaborate with UK/US finance team to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes.
Support internal audit and external regulatory bodies with relevant documentation, data and analysis as required.
Drive automation and efficiency improvements in month end close processes.
