We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst to complete and oversee Record-to-Report (RTR) activities for our Boots Retail USA (BRUSA) business. This role takes ownership of the month end close and reporting processes, working alongside our offshore business process outsourcing (BPO) provider to ensure timely and accurate financials and driving continuous process improvement.
Working with an International team across UK, US and India, this role is based in the RTR team in the UK but reports into the Senior Controller, who is based in the US on the ground in the BRUSA business. You’ll mostly be working with US counterparts daily but will be part of a centralised UK team with a strong team ethic.
Primary duties will cover month end close, financial accounting (journals, balance sheet reconciliations) and completion of controls. Boots Retail USA is a business which primarily distributes No7 products to Walgreens and other US third parties, with limited direct to consumer channels, so this role will build knowledge of retail/trade promotion management, inventory, costs and cash flow.
As we undertake the finance transformation roadmap, with the aim of standardising and automating our processes, this role has plenty of scope to learn and apply principles in Lean (Six Sigma training will be given), process mapping and SOP management (Aris) and ERP system usage and optimisation (SAP S4/HANA). Continuous improvement will be a focus, both onshore and offshore (Genpact) and you’ll be able to take real ownership of solutions and embedding change.
At Boots, we are committed to your professional growth. You will have access to continuous learning opportunities and the chance to shape your career path within our organisation.

This role requires the successful candidate to complete a Pre-employment check after receiving an offer. Depending on your location you will be asked to submit either a DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service), PVG (Protection of Vulnerable groups) or an Access NI Check.
Boots is a Ban the Box employer and will consider the suitability of applicants with criminal convictions on a case-by-case basis.
