Senior Finance Analyst RTR
Contract Type: 12 month Fixed term contract
Location: Luton - work pattern is 3 days on site and 2 can be worked remotely. Travel to site for customer meetings required (Gatwick and Liverpool)
DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business, is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst RTR to play a vital role within our Finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation.

What does the role entail?
- Perform accounting processes in scope for a range of sites, customers or functions as directed, such as month-end, reconciliations (i.e., Open Book Recs, Payroll Recs, Revenue BS Rec, etc.), fixed assets accounting, etc.
- Open book equalisations
- Engage regularly with site operations teams, Reporting team, BU FCs, and shared services on inputs and outputs for completing common processes
- Build deep business knowledge for the customer/sites in scope to support decision-making
- Maintain period-end and year-end closing schedules for the customer/sites in scope
- Adhere to finance processes and ensure accurate, timely report production
- Participate in process improvement workshops and activities
- Provide regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution, and escalations
- Deliver processes to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management
- Support change programmes
- Ensure all standard accounting processes on and off system are followed, identifying continuous improvement opportunities
- Manage individual workflow to meet deadlines
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required, including purchasing or operational admin activities as directed by the Controller or Manager
What do we need from you?
- Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements
- 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in logistics or a similar industry
- Experience using Oracle Cloud is preferred
- Effective time management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Flexible and resilient attitude
