Principal Consultant at HFG Insurance Recruitment

A market leading Lloyd's insurance business is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join their FP&A team, where you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial information and insights to support the business. This includes completing the Financial Plan and subsequent quarterly reforecasting.

The main responsibilities for this Senior Finance Analyst position include:

1. Preparation of the annual financial plan and budget for the Group, liaising with senior management and stakeholders across the wider business, and delivering the consolidated & IFRS 17 business plans to the Board and to Head Office.
2. Business partnering with stakeholders across underwriting and operations to ensure relevant collaboration and reporting.
3. Preparing MI, analytical reviews, and commentary supporting the plan and forecast results.
4. Preparing syndicate forecasts, including those in the Lloyd's Syndicate Business Forecast.
5. Liaising with auditors and actuaries.
6. Preparing Board papers reporting quarterly on the Group's performance.

The successful candidate should have prior FP&A or Commercial finance experience in the Lloyd's market and be either a fully qualified accountant or close to qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
