Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Field Systems Applications Engineer to serve as the primary technical interface to aerospace, defense, and emerging autonomy customers in the United Kingdom.

You will influence system architectures and lead design efforts across RF, radar, EW, and autonomous platforms. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in applications or systems engineering, deep semiconductor knowledge, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 7+ years in Applications Engineering, Field Systems Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
• Broad semiconductor knowledge: analog, data converters, power, RF/microwave.
• Experience in Radar systems.
• Electronic warfare.
• Military communications.
• Software-defined radio.
• MEMS IMUs and navigation systems.
• Autonomous platforms / drones.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• System-Level Technical Engagement: act as trusted technical advisor to defense startups, scale-ups, and primes.
• Architecture & Reference Design Leadership: support customers in partitioning system architectures.
• Program Acceleration: help customers reduce time to field and accelerate production.
• Market & Ecosystem Development: build defense/autonomy ecosystem in the United Kingdom.
