Job summary

DCV Technologies in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior RF Engineer to join its radar and microwave systems team. This hands-on role focuses on RF module development, antenna design and production support in a high‑tech defence environment.

The engineer will work on RF circuit design, antenna arrays, microwave PCB layouts, and verification across testing and production workflows. The position requires experience in radar or defence domains and collaboration with suppliers and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• RF / Microwave Engineering experience.
• Antenna design experience.
• RF PCB design at microwave frequencies.
• Experience with RF components including LNAs, filters, mixers, PLLs and amplifiers.
• Familiarity with Vector Network Analysers (VNA) and Spectrum Analysers.
• Experience within radar, defence, aerospace, communications or surveillance systems.
• Manufacturing or production support experience.

Responsibilities

• RF and microwave circuit design.
• Antenna design and array antenna development.
• RF PCB layout and schematic review.
• RF system analysis and component selection.
• Support RF manufacturing, SMT and production test.
• Validation, verification and troubleshooting of RF systems.
• Work with suppliers, quality and engineering teams.
• Support design for manufacture (DFM) and design for test (DFT).
