Job summary

JLA Limited is seeking an experienced Sterile Services Operations Manager to oversee the service, validation, and maintenance of critical equipment across the UK. You will collaborate with an on-site team to ensure compliance with standards and cost-effective service delivery.

The role involves installing, commissioning, and repairing equipment in controlled environments, with key focus on safety, documentation, and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of Microbiological Safety Cabinet, Pharmaceutical Isolator’s, Cleanrooms, LEV systems, Fume cupboards and other associated devices.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to work out of hours and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and validate equipment in line with current British Standards.
• Maintain and commission laboratory equipment, clean air devices, and HEPA filtration systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work, diagnosing faults and achieving first-time fixes.
• Compile detailed cleanroom validation reports and submit for final review.
• Support cost proposals and estimating.
• Work across NHS facilities, universities, private buildings and private laboratories across the UK.
