Job summary

AE Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Field Engineer to install, maintain and fault‑find ARC‑connected security systems including CCTV, intrusion, access control and alarm signalling. You will lead technical activities and support other engineers, customers and ARC operations teams.

The role requires a strong diagnostic capability, five years in electronic security, a valid UK driving licence and the ability to work independently in a field setting, prioritising faults and maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in electronic security or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with CCTV, intruder detection, access control and alarm signalling.
• Experience supporting Alarm Receiving Centres or monitored security systems preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of IP-networked security and communications.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership to other engineers.
• Full UK driving licence required for field responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, commission and test ARC-connected security systems.
• Maintain CCTV, intruder detection, access control, alarm signalling and communications equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex faults and restore service.
• Support ARC receiving equipment and associated communications systems.
• Complete planned and reactive maintenance to maximise system availability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers and other teams.
• Liaise with customers, ARC operations teams, manufacturers and suppliers.
• Keep service records and technical documentation up to date.
• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, resilience and operational effectiveness.
• Carry out all work in accordance with relevant technical, security and health and safety requirements.
