Job summary

One To One Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead complex electronic security projects across CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems. This field-based role covers the M4 Corridor and Reading towards London, combining hands-on installation with project delivery and technical leadership.

You will travel to customer sites, mentor junior engineers and ensure safety, quality and compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years' engineering or relevant industry experience.
Strong experience in the installation and servicing of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
ECS/CSCS
Experience delivering and supporting complex engineering projects.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Leading and supporting complex electronic security installations and projects
Carrying out installation, service, maintenance and corrective works
Working across CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems
Providing technical expertise and resolving more complex engineering issues
Overseeing works to ensure they are completed safely, efficiently and to specification
Supporting project delivery and liaising with internal teams and stakeholders
Mentoring and providing technical guidance to trainee and junior engineers
Identifying and resolving technical issues through fault-finding and problem-solving
Maintaining accurate project, service and site documentation
Communicating effectively with customers throughout works
Supporting quality assurance and compliance with relevant industry standards
Travelling to customer sites, with overnight stays where required
