You will oversee all aspects of event planning, execution, and post-event analysis, ensuring seamless operations and impactful experiences for attendees. An ideal candidate would have some experience with social media, email, content, and other areas of demand generation programs.

The Marketing Manager will be a key player in advancing our brand presence through successful event management, from small-scale executive meetings to large industry conferences.

The ideal candidate will build relationships with our champions, business cases with their constituents, and “partnerships” with their businesses. You’ll be core to LILT’s success. We are growing at a fast pace, and your contributions will propel us to new milestones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conference Strategy and Planning: Create and execute the strategy for attending corporate tradeshows, hosting events, building prospecting lists, managing the commercial event calendar, and evaluating event effectiveness and ROI

  • Budget Management: Track detailed budgets for each event, ensuring cost-effectiveness while delivering high-quality experiences

  • Vendor and Venue Management: Negotiate contracts with venues, vendors, and service providers, ensuring favorable terms and high service standards

  • Attendee Experience: Oversee all aspects of attendee experience, from pre-event communication to post-event follow-up, ensuring a high level of engagement and satisfaction

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Executive teams to align event goals with broader company objectives

  • Promotion and Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns to drive attendance and awareness, using email marketing and social media

  • Post-event Reporting: Analyze event performance, gather attendee feedback, and present

  • Email Marketing: Write and send emails for event-related campaigns

  • Social Media: Set up a social media schedule for pre-, during and post-event posts

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the high-tech industry

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful event campaigns, generating contributed pipeline

  • Strong understanding of the corporate enterprise landscape, preferably in AI or Tech

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines while remaining detail-oriented

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making

  • Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation platforms, such as Salesforce, Hubspot, and/or Marketo

Our Story

Our founders, Spence and John met at Google working on Google Translate. As researchers at Stanford and Berkeley, they both worked on language technology to make information accessible to everyone. They were amazed to learn that Google Translate wasn’t used for enterprise products and services inside the company and left to start a new company to address this need – LILT.

At its core, LILT has always been a machine learning company since its incorporation on March 6, 2015. At the time, machine translation didn’t meet the quality standard for enterprise translations, so LILT assembled a cutting-edge research team tasked with closing that gap. While meeting customer demand for translation services, LILT has prioritized investments in Large Language Models, believing that this foundation was imperative to the future of enterprise translation.

Benefits:
  • Compensation: At market salary, meaningful equity, pension scheme contribution, and time off plus company holidays

  • Health care: Employees receive coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance. LILT pays for basic life assurance

  • Monthly lifestyle benefit stipend via the Fringe platform to allow employees to customize benefits to their lifestyle
