Job summary

GLF Schools in Oxfordshire seeks an IT support technician to provide first and second line field assistance across hardware and software. You will visit current and future schools within the region, diagnosing issues, deploying configurations and supporting staff to keep systems running smoothly.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, a full driving licence and willingness to travel. You will join a networked IT team within a growing Multi Academy Trust with opportunities for

Job description

The role will provide first and second line support in the field, working with a range of systems and users with varying skills and will need to find solutions to issues affecting all aspects of IT. This is a field role comprising of regular scheduled visits, ad hoc and emergency visits as required to our current and future schools within the allocated region.

This is an exciting role with a varied work stream, and we require an intelligent and enthusiastic person who can think outside the box to solve issues independently, but who can also work effectively with our wider IT and school teams. Ideally, we would like the candidate to have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role and has experience with hardware and software, including installation, configuration and deployment. Please note: The successful candidate will need to travel between schools in Didcot and Banbury; therefore, a willingness to travel, a car and a driving licence are essential.
