Job summary

GLF Schools is seeking a Regional Finance Manager to support our network of schools. You will work with the Finance Partner to deliver expert financial services across the region, including monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasts, with regular visits to schools.

The role offers hybrid working, 30 hours per week over 43 weeks (term time plus 4 weeks), with the option to base at Pine Ridge Infant School, Camberley.

Qualifications

• Experience producing financial accounts using financial systems.
• Experience in education or charity sector preferred.
• Experience in a Finance Department and producing regular forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver monthly management reports to stakeholders.
• Oversee transactional processing within academies.
• Prepare and monitor budgets across the region.
• Liaise with school-based colleagues as required.

Job description

As a Finance Manager, you will work as part of the finance team, led by the Finance Partner, to deliver an expert service to our schools, including:

• managing the delivery of the monthly management reports
• overseeing transactional processing within the academies
• preparing and monitoring budgets
• liaising with school-based colleagues as required

We can offer hybrid working, or you can choose to be fully based at our regional office at Pine Ridge Infant School in Camberley. Regular visits to schools in the region will be necessary. We are looking for someone to work 30 hours a week, 43 weeks a year (term time plus 4 weeks).

We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Regional Finance Manager to play a key role in delivering expert financial support across our schools.

• AAT qualified and beyond or QBE with relevant experience
• Experience of producing financial accounts using financial systems
• Experience of working within the education or charity sector
• Experience of working within a Finance Department
• Experience of producing regular forecasts
