Job summary

Ricardo Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Contractor - Senior Finite Element Analyst to lead FE analysis for transmission and chassis systems. You will build high-fidelity FE models, perform linear and nonlinear static and dynamic analyses, and present results to clients.

The role includes supervising junior team members and coordinating with proposal leaders on scope and resource estimates. The position requires strong expertise in Abaqus, HyperWorks, and OptiStruct, plus experience with CAD tools

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with linear and nonlinear FE analysis.
• Proficient in Abaqus and OptiStruct.
• Experience with CAE tools and CAD packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis tasks on medium and large transmission and chassis projects.
• Build high-fidelity FE models using CAD data and CAE tools.
• Conduct linear and nonlinear static and dynamic FE analysis.
• Prepare technical presentations for internal and client reviews.
• Supervise junior team members and liaise with clients.
• Develop scope of work with proposal leaders and estimate resources.
