Job summary

eNL Legal in Birmingham city centre is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join a well-established team handling publicly funded and privately funded family matters in a busy practice.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in family law, strong experience in legal aid matters and the ability to manage a busy caseload while delivering excellent client care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' PQE in family law.
• Strong experience in publicly funded work and legal aid matters.
• Solid background in matrimonial and childcare matters.
• Excellent client care, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage a demanding caseload independently.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of publicly funded family matters.
• Handling matrimonial matters, including divorce and financial remedy work.
• Dealing with childcare matters, including care proceedings and children disputes.
• Advising clients sensitively and effectively, often in challenging circumstances.
• Preparing cases, attending court hearings and working closely with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
