Job summary

eNL Legal in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join a busy team handling publicly funded childcare work. The role requires a Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE and Children’s Panel accreditation to represent parents and children in public law proceedings.

You will manage a varied caseload, deliver practical client-focused advice, and work closely with colleagues to achieve strong outcomes for vulnerable clients in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Solicitors with 5+ years’ PQE based in Birmingham and accredited to the Law Society’s Children Panel.
• Experience representing parents and/or children in public law proceedings.
• Strong advocacy and case-management skills in a demanding caseload.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload of childcare matters, including care proceedings and emergency protection orders.
• Represent clients throughout proceedings and prepare cases for court hearings while working with counsel and social workers.
