Overview

Senior Facilities/Operations Manager role for a fast-paced professional services company. The client seeks a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the operational running of their head office in London. This newly created role reports directly to the Operations Director and will have strategic oversight across the London and Europe offices.

Salary: £70-90k DOE
Location: West End, London
Working Hours: 5 days in the office, 8.30am - 5.30pm
Years of experience: 10+ years

Role overview:

  • Manage and lead the operations for a large professional services firm who are driving for a top workplace experience.
  • Oversee vendors and contracts, ensuring service quality and budget adherence.
  • Manage a team of 3, ensuring team members are aware of their duties, and work closely with Senior Management and the Operations Director.
  • Balance strategic and hands-on management across both hard and soft facilities.
Key responsibilities
  • Manage workplace operations - including hard and soft facilities services, vendor relationships, reception desks, internal events and budgets.
  • Monitor and optimise office space and services.
  • Project management.
  • Maintain a strong onsite presence and be approachable.
  • Present ideas and solutions confidently and clearly to senior directors and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvements across London and Europe - working with operations teams in other offices.
Skills and experience
  • 10+ years’ experience within a senior operational role, within a large organisation.
  • Senior manager or director level experience, ideally managing multiple large office environments.
  • Confident and clear communicator with the ability to present concisely and professionally, while maintaining a friendly, approachable office presence in a fun team environment.
  • Confident, career-driven leader who thrives in a busy setting.
  • Happy with data analysis and ideally degree educated.
