Job summary

Kingsley is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager in Manchester city centre to oversee the daily operations of our commercial and heritage assets.

You will ensure buildings are well-maintained, compliant with health & safety and environmental standards, and efficiently managed with contractors and budgets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities management experience.
• Professional certifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH are essential.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, risk management and compliance.
• Knowledge of ESG requirements and green building certifications (NABERS, BREEAM).
• Experience with service charge budgets, financial management and contractor relations.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal communication skills.
• High attention to detail with M&E knowledge.
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to work under minimal supervision and tight deadlines.
• Heritage and mixed-use property management experience is a strong advantage.

Our client specialises in asset and development management of commercial and mixed-use real estate, with its’ own in-house management team.

The company has particular expertise in restoring and sustainably developing heritage buildings, with an expanding commercial portfolio that currently extends across Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds.

Role Description

A Senior Facilities Manager is required, based within Manchester city centre, to manage the day-to-day operations of a highly recognised and expanding commercial and mixed-use properties, and ensure that they are not only well-maintained but also compliant with health & safety, and environmental standards.

The role includes, but is not limited to co-ordinating and overseeing:

• building maintenance
• contractors
• budgets, and

Qualifications

• Facilities Management experience, minimum 5 years+
• Relevant professional certifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH essential.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations, Risk Management, and Compliance
• Knowledge of ESG Requirements, Green Building Certifications, NABERS, BREEAM etc
