Job summary

Home Bargains is seeking a lead for its Building Maintenance team to drive high standards across facilities operations. You will oversee maintenance delivery, manage budgets, and lead safety compliance within a large retail footprint.

You'll coordinate with contractors, optimise asset performance through ARMS, and develop your team with a focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading building maintenance or facilities teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using CMMS systems (ARMS or equivalent).
• Knowledge of PUWER, SSOW, COSHH and safety compliance.
• Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance through ARMS.
• Ensure compliance with PUWER, SSOW, COSHH.
• Manage third-party contractors, SLAs and RAMS.
• Plan resources to minimise downtime and disruption.
• Control maintenance spend within budgets.
• Maintain accurate asset data and records in ARMS.
