Job summary

Prize Placements is seeking an experienced Deputy Facilities Officer to support the Facilities Officer in managing offices across the national estate. The role covers facilities management, health & safety, compliance, contractors, suppliers, budgets and office projects, with responsibility for supervising the Facilities Team and deputising when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management and workplace operations.
• Understanding of health and safety and statutory compliance.
• Experience supervising a facilities or workplace team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Facilities Officer with day-to-day management of offices nationally.
• Oversee office services including maintenance, cleaning, security, energy, catering.
• Respond to facilities issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Support relocations, refurbishments and redevelopment projects.
• Provide advice on Health & Safety, risk assessments and compliance.
• Manage contractors and suppliers within budgets.
• Assist with facilities budgets and cost savings.
• Line manage Facilities Team and deputise for Facilities Officer.
