Join the Hertfordshire team as a Senior Facilities Engineer to oversee site-wide building services, utilities, and critical infrastructure in a GMP-regulated environment.

You will lead engineering activities, supervise contractors, and drive continuous improvement to meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards while coordinating with stakeholders and supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience.
• GMP-regulated life sciences/pharmaceutical environment experience.
• Experience leading supervision for engineering teams in maintenance.
• Approved Person authorisation (Electrical HV/LV and/or Mechanical Pressure Systems).
• Experience with pharmaceutical facilities and asset upgrades.
• Knowledge of GMP, GxP and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering teams and contractors delivering maintenance activities.
• Act as primary technical contact for HVAC and building infrastructure.
• Inspect equipment and drive corrective actions for improvement.
• Review HVAC/BMS control systems to optimise plant performance.
• Monitor reliability and ensure compliance with schedules and regs.
• Coordinate shutdowns, upgrades, and installation activities.
• Prepare maintenance procedures, permits, and documentation.
• Support training for engineering personnel and manage vendors.
