Job summary

CHPK Group is seeking a Senior Facade Engineer in London to lead complex facade projects, deliver high‑quality design solutions, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain strong client relationships.

You will collaborate with architects, contractors and consultants, review drawings and specifications, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to business growth through proposals and industry participation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive facade design and engineering experience.
• Knowledge of facade systems and detailing.
• Experience delivering complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
• Experience with inspections, testing and investigations.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Professional membership, or working towards membership, is advantageous.

This role is central to the technical and commercial success of the business. As Senior Façade Engineer, you will take ownership of complex facade engineering projects, providing technical expertise and ensuring high standards of quality, compliance and client service.

Working across a range of projects, you will collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, while supporting the development of colleagues and contributing to the continued growth of the business.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex problems, taking ownership and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Who you are

You are an experienced facade engineering professional with strong technical expertise and a practical, solutions-focused approach. You will ideally have:

• A degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive facade design and engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of facade systems and detailing.
• Experience delivering complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
• Experience with inspections, testing and investigations.
• Strong technical and commercial skills.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Professional membership, or working towards membership, is advantageous.
