Job summary

SER Limited is seeking a Senior Façade / Cladding Designer to lead high-profile cladding design on major UK projects from our Greenwich base. The role offers £55k-£65k DOE with hybrid working and regular site exposure across the UK.

You will produce detailed cladding construction drawings, coordinate with clients and architects, and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while applying strong AutoCAD 2D and Revit skills. UK-based applicants with right-to-work preferred.

Qualifications

• Cladding design experience required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D.
• Knowledge of U-values and condensation risk.
• Experience with fabrication and setting-out drawings.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed cladding construction, installation and fabrication drawings.

• Carrying out site surveys and inspections.
• Developing designs from surveys, photographs and site information.

Senior Façade / Cladding Designer

Salary: £55,000-£65,000 DOE + Hybrid Working
Location: Greenwich, London 4 Days Remote / 1 Day Office

Ready to take your cladding design career to the next level?

Are you an experienced Façade / Cladding Designer looking for a role where you can work on major, high-profile projects and have real ownership over your designs?

I m currently working with a well-established specialist façade contractor who are expanding their design team and looking for a Senior Façade / Cladding Designer to join them.

You ll be working on projects typically valued between £3m £9m, including high-risedevelopments, residential apartments, commercial buildings and tall tower schemes across the UK.

The Role

You'll be responsible for:

• Producing detailed cladding construction, installation and fabrication drawings
• Panel and sub-grid setting out, elevations and fire barrier details
• Carrying out site surveys and inspections
• Developing designs from surveys, photographs and site information
• Coordinating with clients, architects, engineers and site teams
• Liaising with manufacturers on technical specifications, U-values and condensation risk
• Supporting material take-offs and technical submissions
• Managing multiple projects and design deadlines

What We're Looking For

• Cladding design experience
• Strong AutoCAD 2D skills
• Solid knowledge of cladding systems, panels, insulation, fixings, membranes and fire barriers
• Experience with fabrication and setting-out drawings
• Understanding of U-values and condensation risk
• Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills
• Experience with Revit, SketchUp, 3D AutoCAD or Bluebeam is a bonus
