Job summary

SER Limited in London seeks a Senior Façade / Cladding Designer to lead high‑profile projects from concept to construction. You will produce detailed cladding drawings and coordinate with clients and engineers.

The role includes site surveys, design development from surveys and site info, and managing multiple projects with strict deadlines. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is essential; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp or Bluebeam is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Cladding design experience.
• Strong AutoCAD 2D skills.
• Solid knowledge of cladding systems, panels, insulation, fixings, membranes and fire barriers.
• Experience with fabrication and setting‑out drawings.
• Understanding of U-values and condensation risk.
• Strong communication and technical problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with Revit, SketchUp, 3D AutoCAD or Bluebeam is a bonus.

Senior Façade / Cladding Designer

Salary: £55,000-£65,000 DOE + Hybrid Working

Location: Greenwich, London | 4 Days Remote / 1 Day Office

Ready to take your cladding design career to the next level?

Are you an experienced Façade / Cladding Designer looking for a role where you can work on major, high-profile projects and have real ownership over your designs?

I'm currently working with a well-established specialist façade contractor who are expanding their design team and looking for a Senior Façade / Cladding Designer to join them.

You’ll be working on projects typically valued between £3m-£9m, including high-risedevelopments, residential apartments, commercial buildings and tall tower schemes across the UK.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Producing detailed cladding construction, installation and fabrication drawings
• Panel and sub-grid setting out, elevations and fire barrier details

• Coordinating with clients, architects, engineers and site teams
