Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Fabricator - Plater to support the fabrication and installation of metal components in line with engineering drawings and company standards. You will interpret drawings, perform precise fabrication tasks, and ensure safety and quality are maintained in a busy workshop environment.

The role requires hands-on skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a fabrication or plating environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Solid knowledge of SHE regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Excellent practical hand skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with an approachable and reliable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret fabrication and installation drawings accurately.
• Perform assembly and fabrication tasks using a range of hand tools and techniques.
• Maintain SHE risk awareness and compliance.
• Produce work to required tolerances and quality standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors, planners and other trades to meet production targets.
• Support apprentices by sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Assist with shop floor problem-solving and adapting to changes in drawings, processes, or technologies.
