Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Plater / Fabricator. The role involves reading engineering drawings, fabricating parts to tight tolerances, and communicating with Project Managers during production.

Hours are Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4pm with overtime available. The position offers an hourly rate of £18-£20 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and fabrication of various sizes of projects.
• Achieve production timings in a timely manner.

• Following all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures
• Completing fabrication as required and recording critical dimensions on inspection reports and performing safety checks.
• Varied and interesting work, requiring attention to accuracy and detail to ensure tight tolerances are met.

PLATER / FABRICATOR

We are recruiting for an experienced Plater / Fabricator to work for our client who are located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A PLATER / FABRICATOR

• Reading engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/welded.
• Preparing and fabrication of various sizes of projects.
• Achieve production timings in a timely manner.
• Communicating with Project Managers during production.
• Following all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures
• Completing fabrication as required and recording critical dimensions on inspection reports and performing safety checks.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS

THE HOURS

You will earn an hourly rate of £18-£20 an hour depending on experience.
