Job summary

Educato Limited seeks a dedicated SEN EYFS Teacher to join a Middleton primary school. You will plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons, adapting activities to meet individual SEN needs and working with the SENCO and assistants to track progress.

You will support EHCP outcomes, promote positive behaviour and build strong relationships with children and families. QTS or ECT status and right to work in the UK are required; experience with SEN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or is an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Experience teaching in EYFS or a primary school setting.
• Experience supporting or teaching children with SEN.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
• Confident adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.
• Patient, nurturing, resilient and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
• Confident with classroom and behaviour management.
• Has the right to work in the UK and is available full-time.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons and activities tailored to individual needs.
• Adapt learning activities to support children with a range of additional needs.
• Assess, monitor and track children's progress and development.
• Develop positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Support the implementation of individual support plans and EHCP outcomes where appropriate.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage children's confidence and independence.
